Brighton

Just west of the city and historically home to Boston's cattle markets and stockyards, Brighton is one of the most convenient neighborhoods for those looking for an easy commute. Recently becoming home to New Balance headquarters as well as the Bruins and Celtics practice/training facilities a new Commuter rail stop, Boston Landing, opened in 2018. If outdoor space is more your thing Brighton also has numerous parks, the Chestnut Hill Reservoir and bike trail as well as sections of the scenic Charles River Walkway.

Much like neighboring Allston, Brighton is largely populated by students, graduates and young professionals being centrally located between Boston University and Boston College. The two main hubs of the neighborhood, Brighton Center and Oak Square are easily accessible via the Mass Pike and the MBTA Green B line which terminates at Boston college.  There are also several Express Bus routes to downtown and other surrounding neighborhoods.
